The Alternate List

For if I ever decide to switch teams, as it were. What? It's important to think about these things.

Jennifer Garner

Actually, Jennifer comes very close to making my non-alternate list. I'm just completely in love with her. Though Alias has a tremendously strong ensemble cast, it's Jennifer who really makes it work. I watched the pilot for Alias when it first aired, and I remember being completely blown away by the quality of her performance . . . and I've been hooked ever since. Action, drama, humor, I've never seen them throw anything at her that she can't handle. She's the kick-ass goddess next door. Plus, from everything I've heard and read, she's one of the nicest people in Hollywood. More plus, she has dimples, and sings, and dances. Tough to resist that.

Claudia Black

Again with the ass-kicking. No matter what roles she might end up playing, Claudia will always be Aeryn Sun to me. Aeryn is a tremendously complicated character: she's a shoot-first, ask-questions-later soldier who nevertheless finds that she delights in using her brain when the situation requires it; she doesn't trust or even really understand emotions, but she'd die for a comrade without a second thought; she's got a gorgeous smile and she can break your heart when she cries. And Claudia pulls it all off flawlessly (not to mention the fact that she has unbelievable eyes). And there's yet more leather, and weapons, which is HOT.

And that's it for now. Apparently I'm pickier with women than with men. :)
